Martin Luther Exhibit

#HereIstand. Martin Luther, the Reformation and its Results
Brought to Saskatchewan by the Saskatchewan German Council.

2017 is the 500th anniversary of Martin Luther’s 95 Theses that sparked the Protestant Reformation in Western Europe in 1517.

Host your own poster exhibition on the history of the Reformation by renting these posters from SGC!  The poster exhibition “#HereIStand. Martin Luther, the Reformation and its Results” shows the upheavals of the 16th century delivered through 16 modern, attractively designed and informative posters.  Spark interest in this German history that changed Western civilization forever.

Highlighting the most important events in the history of the Reformation, this exhibition also shows how it affects us today.  Using the biography of Martin Luther, father of the Protestant Reformation, as a starting point, the poster exhibit explores the time prior to the Reformation, the dynamics of the Reformation and the outcomes of the Reformation, all in easily accessible language and interesting graphics.

Just as the printing press changed communication in Luther’s time and aided in his popularity, the internet has changed our lives.  After being inspired by the poster exhibition, your audience can visit the accompanying website.  This incredible resource, available in both English and German, boasts interactive 3D models of items from Luther’s time including a 3D tour of an indulgence chest and a writing set as well as access to 3D printing plans:

Cost: rental of this exhibition is up to $80.00 plus shipping. For inquiries please contact the SGC office.

You will find detailed information on exhibit design, display options, dimensions, and more in this information package!
